The tail piece is a Home Depot Desk drawer pull from the hardware dept down the lockset and door-hardware isle. They have 3 sizes, this one being a medium, and run about 6 dollars a piece. They come in different finishes too, brushed nickel, brushed brass, aged copper and blackened brass. These are nice if you want to hide your string holes for the clean look and high enough to rest your palm on.
