Cardboard cigarbox, piezo pick up, dulcimer fretted with banjo fretwire, scrap walnut fretboard, bolt bridge, a piece of an old dressing table for saddle, piece of the dog's bone for nut, enclosed tuners, cheapo chinese strings. Scarfed headstock. The neck is made from 1" thick floorboarding, complete with nail holes and knots, from a large building next door to me that has been demolished, the wood is around 80 years old and looks like pine.I put a pine frame inside the box to support it and screwed down the lid. I built this for my mother who gave me the box and it sound great!
