  • I'm working on a video of the finished amp. I have a cheap camera and the audio isn't very loud, so I'm trying to get something together.

  • I will if anyone is interested. I built a amp using this schematic in a thread on the Homemade Amps group.

I can supply a kit or build a head or combo amp for anyone that's interested. I would need a deposit cause of my financial situation trying to live on disability.

The first amp I made was a Amp Head built in a candy tin, second build was a Combo Amp. A Head would be about 50 to 60 dollars and a Combo Amp would be about 135 dollars. Good speakers are pricey.

  • So Paul - - planning to market these as kits to fellow CBGers?  ;-)

  • This amp works well. The tone circuit could be better. The out put caps will vary depending on the speaker you use. I used a WGS Veteran 10" 8ohm 20watt and that 10uf value cap worked best. Anything higher made it louder, but it had too much treble to it. So if I had made the cabinet out of MDF or pressed sawdust, I probably would've used 100uf or 220uf caps.

  • my bwain sploded .. :-/
