  • Wow! Very cool! One of the more original ones I've seen on here in a while. Nicely done!

  • Nice build!

" I'm lucky in that the guys next door to my shop do powder coating" hurumph... some guys have all the luck ;-)
    Cheers,

  • Oh yeah... sound.  It doesn't have a real loud voice acoustically - not like a banjo anyway, but it sounds a lot brighter than a cigar box through an amp.  I'm leaning toward liking the CBG sound better, but I just couldn't resist when I started looking around for resonator parts.  I'm lucky in that the guys next door to my shop do powder coating and the ring is done in candy apple powder.  Should stand up to a little hard picking.

  • The neck is made of tiger stripe maple with a flame beech stringer.  The fret board is made of birds eye maple.  Kind of tough to get all the little "eyes" filled but it sure makes for a visually appealing effect!

  • Now that looks mighty pretty. The headstock looks aces too. Nice work.

  • retro look love it what;s it sound like. what,s the fret board made of

  • Thanks so much!  I really have enjoyed making these things.... kinda fell outta that tree and hit 100 branches on the way down!

  • Very pretty, cool and well done.
