Wasn't sure I would like the dark wood but I think it's rather striking and out of the ordinary. Neck is from rock maple and has a 15 degree tuning head with open tuning machines. Has a rod piezo under the lathe turned bridge and an acoustic piezo in the box. The sound holes are lathe turned wooden rings stained dark walnut with bottom screens. Sounds pretty awesome to me, but I'm still learning to play!
