    I think the mahogany is my favorite soundboard wood.  Found a guy on Ebay that will book match and cut thin slices.  This grain just jumps out with a little sanding a clear coat of lacquer.

    Don't know if anyone noticed, but I still managed to get the "homage" to the CBG in there.... the volume knob is a 3/8" bolt that I drilled and turned down on my lathe.
