Thanks Bluesheart. I'm having fun with these. Haven't figured out the best way to go for the shaft hole. So far just a simple hole a tad smaller than the shaft. I just got a new batch of 1 inch wood from my woodshed at the summer shop. Some great Maple, Oak, Ash, Mahogany and Spruce. I'm liking the laminations. I want to try a chicken head with a stripe down the beak.
