The bridge is made from a piece of walnut made to look like a cigar with a broken Allen wrench inlet into the top acting like the saddle. The pickguard is from a broken record I found at a rummage sale. The song is called "The Whistling Coon" (I know the title is not P.C.) but what is interesting is it is one of the first recordings made by a true African-American in the United States and I wanted to preserve that because it is important to our art/craft of building these instruments.
