Don't know with out comparing but this one is of corse fairly thick brass and has very good sustain. Its cheap and easy to make to since the parts come rom a hardware store, basic plumbing..
Yes, that is a very cool bridge design! I've seen 'pipe' bridges a couple of times before. What would you say is the difference in tone between a hollow pipe bridge and, say, one made of all thread?
