  Is that Poplar your using for necks? I use poplar and think its a perfect neck material considering its price.
  I laminate 2 pieces together to make my 3 string necks.
  Recently I started trying a method of beefing up the neck inside the box by re gluing the piece I cut out to clear the lid to the UNDERSIDE of the neck inside the box. Quick, simple and much less work.Your way is definitely,superior to mine but I'm much too lazy to do all that work lol
