I made a couple of these thinking Valentines day ! Still single.... Grin. These boxs aren't to loud and I thought it might be a dud. Turned out ok tho. 1 inch dowel drilled straight thru plain sound holes and two strings tuned G and G. Posted on Ebay cheap

Hi Bill, I found this picture and was thinking about a few things... Please can you explain how you drill large round holes for the pass through neck so close to the soundboard without breaking the left (or right) mounting parts of the box ? Do you use some special tool ?
