:) Yes! I usually leave them on, expecting customers to take them off when they get them home. But, I had one come in for repair a couple of weeks ago after being in use for over a year - the little protective bits were still in place! I think I'll start taking them off when I'm prepping a guitar for sale - the tuners really do look a *lot* better without them.
Not sure if you noticed but there is a protective film on the inner circle that you can peel off. I didnt notice it on one of my builds for a couple of months.
