This was my first decoupage since... first grade? There are some wrinkles in it, but I think that gives it character ;)
The process couldn't be easier: water down some white glue, use that to with a paint brush to glue on whatever you've cut out, once dry give it a few coats of acrylic (sold as "water based polyurethane"). Or, you can go to the craft store decoupage section and pay twice as much for the same stuff.
I have dozens of these boxes and was getting bored with them. This opens up a lot of new possibilities. But, my next one may be based on cut outs from old Easy Rider magazines..
Feminine or not. That is one beautiful guitar. Now I have to learn how to decoupage... Maybe I'll make some of those decoupaged Holly Hobby wooden purses that were popular back when I was a kid. You had to watch out for the girls taking decoupage class. They could clobber you with those wooden purses!
