  Its 17 scale...I bought cheap nylon strings off ebay paid 3 quid. Baritone may be future model for me.....hubcap soprano next....still working on design as the hubcap is huge moon style

  What is the scale measurement? Was thinking of building a baritone uke, because it is the same scale as a guitar, and uses the same chords to play. Nylon or gut strings?

  It's a tenor ukulele...it sounds bright but mellow at the same tone. Fitted with under saddle pickup....really pleased
