    I cut some bone blanks at my shop yesterday and left them there. Didn't think I would have as much building time this weekend... one thing led to another and I HAD to string it up to try it out. It's my first 4-string. Don Thomas box, it's loud and sounds good too. It will have a bone nut and electronics added later...

    lol  ..   i  first  saw this    and thought  you  invented some  new side  wing  nut    for  extra  strings  or somethin  ;-)  ....  actually  ..  i  would have gone with that  story  ;-)

    Whoops! Guess I should cut it with the grain going the other way. Or find a harder material to work with. It was sounding sooo good too! lol
