I won these in an Ebay auction....they were a great deal till I realized I need to buy all the other hardware that it takes too run them...plus a soldering iron/kit.....oh well....they still look cool, and maybe one day I'll have all I need to solder.

Domino, now you know i'm an old guy. Easily confused. I assumed the comment would get to Stewy as it's right under the photo... and you can't have too many irons... in the fire...
He he.. I meant the domino pickup idea for obvious reasons.. Dave I think you meant to talk to Stewy, I already have two soldering irons since I bought another when I couldn't find the first one (it's still not turned up)..
Domino, go for it. I'm an old guy now, i don't wait too much anymore for "someday". Most of building is just "starting". With all this inspiration available at Nation and folks to answer your ?s building becomes fun. Most all of the folks building are doing it on a shoestring or insist on doing it for free with found objects and junk laying around. Those domino pups look great. Have some fun.
I've used a woodburning set i got at a sale for $2 to solder with till I got my real gun (at a sale for $7). You don't need anything but a jack to run one. Just hot to hot and ground to ground. Two wires. Pots can come later if at all.
