Cool. I used a woodstove for the over all browning and then a candle for the darker burns. I just had the bolts in the fire last night and now they're soaking in some soda. Hoping to rust them up a bit. They were just too shiney.
Love it! I was making a distressed guitar the other day and saw this, so decided to take some matches to it! Probably the most fun I've had building a guitar so far.
