Actually, the paint can reso increases the volume by 3-4X and really brings out the high frequencies... and the broom wire sorta' sounds like a bell with great sustain.
Now I need to add a pick up, and perhaps figure something out to use as a tuner. Adjusting the nut with a hammer to tune it to C gets old after a while.
