Curt's CigarBox (4 string) Mandola, head stock

I had to make a wood retainer as the strings would not set down on the "bolt/nut".I hoped to master fretting and such to be able to pick this, but I will probably end up using a slide.But this is my first fret job so I can only get better.Any and ALL suggestions are most WELCOME!
