With the switch you can toggle between electromagnetic and piezo pickup, or use both at the same time (three way switch). With the two knobs, you can control the volume of each pickup.
Yeah I thought the parts you ran the strings through looked like it was from some electrical connectors. Nice DIY bridge. I like the use of the acorn nuts on the knobs. What is the switch for?
Yeah I was wondering the type of screws and the part that you ran the strings though. They kind of look like the kind you use for electrical connections.
The bottom is from a hinge, then four screws and nuts of course, four washers and (most likely what you're wondering about) eight pieces from an insulating screw joint (single row type).

Nach mehreren Jahren bin ich das erste mal wieder auf CBN und sehe einen neuen Kommentar! Ich bin aus Freising.
Die Bridge ist ein Sahnestück. Wo bist´n her aus Munchen?
Have a look here. I added a drawing of the bridge construction to the comment section for this photo:

Would you consider putting up some more information on how you made that bridge? Great idea... Great CBG

Nice makeshift bridge.
