I too almost always install corner braces in my builds.I could probably get away without them in some builds but I sell my builds and I just feel better knowing that I have done all I can to make sure the build stays like I build it.
I usually tell my customers wife that she could hit him over the head and not hurt the build, but I caution against leaving it out in the rain,,,,
Don Pepin Garcia in process, braces are saved left overs from table saw cuts - old fashioned carpenters white glue and clamped in corners. Notches in thru neck cut with Craftsman three wheel hobby bandsaw (old but tuned up) Cut in first four times then angle cut between - easy to do with the old cheap bandsaw. Box braces are custom fitted to contact bottom of neck and the lid lays down on the top step tight and will be glued. Lid glued all the way around and clamped. Piezo will be double stick tape mounted and hang off neck under bridge. Anyway thats the plan. Third one and two more in some kind of progress. FUN !!
