Oak neck and fretboard, bloodwood nut and saddle. Bolt bridge has been replaced with bone. Strings are the EADG from a set of classical guitar nylons. Tuned to a "low G" uke tuning and down an octave. 21" scale.

Thanks, K. I like the sound...a little deeper than a baritone uke, but not guitarish either. I tried string trimmer line (.080) on the low string just to see how it sounded...much like a string bass, but softer than I wanted. Great in a small group, but probably needs a pickup for the larger uke group.
No bracing yet. I may put some under the bridge to see how that sounds.
