  Thanks Wes. I'm not into lap dulcimers, but i bet you could put 2 or 3 conchs under the neck and make a nice sounding one.

  Wes, it sounds really good, the 3 sound holes in the neck resonate the sound through the conch, also have parallel piezos embedded in the bridge.
