Running the curly maple through the CNC to get the flame design. I made the flame as a polyline on autocad and brought it into the CNC program. (So is this now "flamed" maple? Ha!) It cut the inside of the flames and since the bit was 3/8", I had a lot of detail work to cut the tips. Painful, but worth it in the end.
