Thanks, it does help. I've made 2 six strings for a local cigar shop. Luckily for me I think they mainly wanted them as decoration. However, my goal is to make one with a homemade neck that is playable.
Thank Mike for the complement,it was 1x3 ,it had a red oak fret board,it was not tapered,didnot have a truss rod in it.This was my 1st six string,The neck was a little on the fat side and was not as playable as I wanted.I built that guitar for a customr for a xmas present,I didnot have a lot of time to build it so the neck was not where I would like it to be.Working on some jigs to make a neck more like my Les Paul.Hope I was some help.
This is awesome! Is the neck a 1X3? Is it tapered at the top? Do you use anything for a truss rod? I've built 2 six strings but i've been disappointed with the playability.
