I've cut a hole in a classical guitar a friend gave me to convert her to a resonator. I beefed up the tail with mahogany also mahogany posts on Mahogany kleets. I had to reglue all the braces as they were loose. This has a bowed back so each brace is curved to make the back flex out. Interesting to clamp.
