  • the fingerboard is glued to the broomstick and box, and the nut is separate. On regular violins, the fingerboard is flat at the nut and curves towards the bridge. the only reason mine is not like that is because i didn't realize this til recently. i would try making it more like a real violin cuz it'll be easier to play, and you don't want the strings to buzz on the fretboard, but you need them to be curved at the bridge.
  • Did you screw the fingerboard to the broomstick and to the box where they meet? Is the nut and fingerboard one peice? Do you think it would be too tough to try and play it if I used a straight fingerboard and nut, with a rounded bridge only?
  • Very cool work!!
