My latest achievement (he said with more than a touch of iroony!)It'a a great cb, sounds terrific, even with the stick going all the way through and the box itself being pretty narrow. The bridge is cut from a piece of 1/4" red oak, the saddle is one of stewmac's fake bone thingies. Ace hardware furnished the sheet metal for the tailpiece. Stick is glued inside the box lid, so it can still be opened. Frets are toothpicks ( I gave up on the fret wire I tried to install). The instrument can only be fretted a few tones above the nut - action too high after that. There is certainly some "finishing" to be done, but it's essentially complete. Helpful comments for future builds are appreciated. Thanks, all!

Good effort on your part. It should make a great slide guitar. Too bad you glued that neck to the box top, cause it would be easy to change the neck angle to lower the action. I like being able to open the box too, but I would not sacrifice adjustability to do it.
