Total score yesterday on boxes. A local cigar shop sells off their boxes for $2 a piece and the $2 goes to a local Kansas City charity called Hope House. If anyone here is from Kansas City it's in Blue Springs by 7hwy and I-70.I picked two Brickhouse boxes. The larger one will be a guitar and the smaller one will be a LM386 based amp.The Java Box will be my 9 year old's first build (got to start 'em young.)Unfortunately they didn't have any bigger boxes. I'm suspecting because a local builder must have grabbed them before I got to them.Also I was at a rummage sale and bought another Silverware box for only $2. This one looks to be of better quality than the first one that I made one out of.Should make for some great builds in the near future.
