Thanks Benjamin! For the power supply I just un-soldered the leads to the original power supply (four "C" batteries) and soldered a 9v battery connector in it's place - the 9v is a bit more juice than the 4 "C" batteries (about 6v total) but nothing's fried from the extra voltage (yet - altho I think it should be okay). I replaced the mic (that black button-looking thing in the middle foreground) with a 1/4" input jack - again a simple job of just unsoldering the mic wires & replacing w/ wires for the input jack. I soldered the wires for the output jack in the same place where the wires for the speaker are attached to the circuit board.
