Ashton Churchills box. Vintage key nut from Ukraine (Etsy), stainless cover for string/tailpice is a ca. 1965 dealer promo trinket from Speed Queen Laundry Machines of Ripon, WI (thanks Dad).From CB Gitty: strings, tuners, bridge, piezos, jack and cover, wires. Tuned to Middle D & High G with CB Gitty's Southbound Strings. 25.5 inch scale.This was assembled from a variety of test and trial parts and/or mistake pieces that were not initially intended to be put together as one instrument.     I have wondered many times about this style of neck on top of the box. I have always preferred to mount the neck inside or just bolt it on... Have to try this some day...
