  Yes, I made them. They are 1/8th inch birch plywood from a big box hobby store. The plate at the neck through was the biggest challenge. The one at the tail was easier because of the simpler shape. I had to do it that way to cover an earlier mistake.

  Did you make/cut the black plates at the neck through & at the tail? Of what material? Wood? Plastic?
