Cheap and cheerful speaker

This is a simple little speaker cabinet I got off EBay for .99p. It was from the shed of an ex radio enthusiast. It had an old speaker in it but it was a bit too harsh so I replace it with a 10 watt, 6" little number. Sanded the outside so it was nice and tidy, stained and waxed it and added a grille. Popped a 1/4" jack in the back and DONE. 1x ballsy speaker that shouts very admirably when hooked up to my Noisy Cricket.

    Yeah, I think it was the shape/proportions that caught my eye in the first place. MAN it was an ugly duckling though. Painted battleship grey with a big brush and had a layer of wood grain effect contact paper under that! I was please when I stripped all of that away..."Hey, look at that...decent wood".
