Made a new neck for Chateau. The original was my first fretted neck with brass rods and no fret board. This one is maple neck, maple fret board, med nickel frets, scarf joint, zero fret, oak spacer and danish oil finish. I also shortened the scale length from 25.5 to 24" to make chording easier. Still my favorite box and even more so now with the extra space between the top and strings.

I like the zero fret idea. Is it somehow mounted higher on the fretboard or does it just naturally slope enough to clear the first actual fret? Nice work looks great!
