A pair of Sam'l Davis 1886 boxes arrived yesterday. They will become concert scale and soprano scale ukes in a similar manner as those built by Sam Kamaka,Jr. My trapezoidal tenor uke body, also cigar box inspired, is in front.

Those 1816s have a vintage look. Beautiful big box in the foreground.
