The neck is a little beefy, I think. I got the action low enough that it's pretty comfortable to fret. It's definitely a lefty, the neck is a fat half teardrop shape, which is great if it's being held the right way, but I strung it backwards so I can play it and my fingers stretching across the thicker side is a little strange.
