Thank you, Paul, my WA neighbor. Actually, my brother found a bunch of beautiful quarter-sawn purpleheart 1x2 in the free scrap bin behind a cabinet shop, wide enough for 6-string fretboards. Sometimes you get lucky.
Great looking guitar. You must of beat me out on the bid on that piece of purpleheart I wanted on e-bay the other day! Wondered who that guy was, HA, Well it went to a good cause.. Really a nice job.
