  It is finished and working. I used a radio shack piezo pickup. It sounds ok, but I will probably use a magnetic pickup next time. For this build, it wouldn't hurt to add another mini speaker at the other soundhole, but I probably won't bother until I need to get inside the box again. The volume is good for about 50%, then I get feedback, which would be expected for such a small speaker.

  Cool. Let us know how it works. I've been wanting to do something like that. And yea, that is gonna look real funny on an xray machine!

  Cracks me up that the insides of all these electrified CBG's looks like something a bomb sniffing dog would salivate over...LOL!!!!
