    The tail piece is built from L-shaped aluminum and then screwed into the neck piece and a hole cut into the lid with a decorative piece of wood grain plastic for support and looks....Thanks for asking and enjoy your builds brother....

    I love the look of the git.  What is the tail piece/bridge made out off?
