Second build after soldering up the piezo, the volume potentiometer (POT) and the 1/4 jack for the guitar chord. I used closet door finger pulls to mount the POT and the jack rather than thinning down the box sidewall. I misinterpreted the wiring schematic for the POT and soldered the end connectors opposite to what they should have been. So when I turn the knob "up" - the volume goes down, and v.v. when I turn it down, real volume goes up.This box sounds so sweet that I hate to cut holes in the lid. The piezo is really close to the lid inside and I'll have to add some rubber to dampen the tendency to hum.Otherwise, it plays great. I use a PX4D effects box as a pre-amp, LA Studio amp setting, with Studio Harmony effect (stuharm on the PX4D).
