The headstock is approximately 16 degrees offset from the FB.I used a scarf joint to cut and reglue a portion of the neck to form the headstock. To make it wider, I just glued spanish cedar "wings" onto the neck wood and them cut out the shape (using my own template) on my bandsaw.A homemade truss rod is underneath the TRC.The tuners are old recycled Epiphone.

Being my first CBG and not knowing the rules or limits..I adopted the "anything goes" principle.
The tuners are left over GOTOH sealed tuners from an Epiphone 6 string jazz guitar that
I upgraded to Gibson Keystone style. I made my own Gibson style truss rod under the TR
cover and a brass adjusting nut. The FB is Makore (African Cherry) which I planed to
thickness and cut the slots with the S-M fret saw/depth stop and my own double homemade
mitre box, using a S-M precut FB as my template, The position markers are just Gretsch
style thumb markers using hard maple inset into the FB. I bound the sides with maple strips
and made some black ebony dots for in the neck binding to match the thumb markers.
When I play, I don't see the embedded position markers anyway, so just glance at the
dots to see where I am.
This week, I will mount the two piezos and connect everything together with a mini 3 way
switch (on/on/on) to allow either the CB Gitty SC sound or a mix..or just the bridge area
piezos.
I will add a volume/tone pot on the top and and jack coming out the end.
I have round brass grommets (obtained locally) 3/4" inch hole,and I probably
will install those in the top left/right corners...classic CBG style.
