:::In order to get the headpiece to drop back enough to keep the strings down on the nut and the action low, I epoxied a .25" slab of oak to the back of the maple neck, then cut away the top .5" of the maple.The neck was roughed in by hand and Dremel, refined with a 1" belt sander, followed by sanding with a B&D Mouse, 120 grit, 220 grit, followed by 400 and 600, sanded by hand.:::

This is what I need to do!Can't seem to keep the strings from buzzing.I have a thin strip of oak left over from the cut-out for the cb lid ,perfect to thikin the head stock.
