  18ga galvanized utility wire, 1/8" steel rod for the zero fret, and 1/2" aluminum for the nut

  haha, 4 tuning pegs just for symmetry, one of them will have a fake string that leads to just under the middle nut slot. As for the metal nut, I did my best to round out all the edges with a file, even in the actual slots.

  How come there are four tuning pegs and only 3 nut slots? And does that metal nut not "grab" to much on wound strings?
