First Attempt (in progress)

685mm scale (26.5" appx,) fretless, oak neck, dulcimer strung, tuned G3, D4, G4+G4 doubled course which is a very low tuning, but the box likes it.It still needs finish work and a permanent floating bridge and maybe a pickup.I was going to fret it, but it played so nice fretless I cannot bring myself to.It will get , I think, a cyanoacrylate gel (superglue) fretboard with burned in fret markers underneath (diatonic style for dulcimerryment) and a nice walnut or maple stain and poly topcoat. I think. I'm still not sure. I might do a brass inset fretbed if I get really fancy...
