I just finished it up tonight, so the strings have some stretching to do. I gave them a good stretch - most of my body weight pulling on them - but they still have room to stretch.
Low E - nope, not with these strings (80 -95 - 105), and with this scale length (30"). The next one I build will have a much longer scale - probably 36", though perhaps longer - an angled back neck to improve downward pressure on the bridge (weedwacker line is so dang slinky) - and I need to solve the feedback issue. I have dual piezo's in parallel, and the sound is decent, though the output could be higher - but I can build a preamp to remedy that - but once you get up on the volume a bit it'll definitely "howl", so I need to figure out a way to calm the feedback down.
That looks great! Did your strings "settle" in yet? Can you get a low "E" out of it? My low "E" is a bit floppy- I'm gonna try a longer scale length on my next build.
