Yes, they are electric bass A and D strings and a piezo in between the top and neck at the same place as the bridge. I placed the sound holes in the middle of the top and made them quite small in order to achieve better bass response.
Also, I used soft plywood (spruce) for lightness and soft sound. I found smaller tuners from a 5-string bass tuner set. Thanks!
this thing is cool does it have bass guitar strings on it? just curious rustman but i wanted you to know i like the way this thing looks, and i will probably have to make me a bass box soon cause i play bass and guitar. good work you do here.
