It's got a great tone actually - I'll get a demo recorded this weekend. It does have some ability with the separate volume controls to brighten things up with more neck pickup or go for a darker tone at the bridge too. I don't know if I'll do this again with p-bass pickups, but it's been a fun and successful experiment!
Thanks! I got a chance to jam some 12 bar blues with it this afternoon. With Teddy, Henry Lowman, Dan Sleep, Ben, and a few others from the MD/VA/DC group covering up my mistakes it sounded pretty darn good! :)

Now! THAT is interesting P-bass pickup placement. I'm intrigued. How'd it work for you?

Def a good idea, going to have to steal that one! Also a great looking build, man.
Thanks! I only had to screw up on three or four guitars and have to move the bridge around (sometimes covering up holes) before I thought of this. :)
Good idea. Alignment make a big difference. Nice to have a balanced sound and strings that hit the fretboard.
