This end of the Canjo shows the "Nut" and two tuner pegs. The Nut, which I might replace, is currently a screw terminal block for an old analog device's wire connection. I raised two of the block's screws to guide the wires.

Hi PihtBull - I think the sound is fine, using the plastic terminal. The reason I might replace it is that I don't quite like the look. So I might end up replacing it with a bolt... either that or smooth out the rough end. I do like that the terminals little screws can be used to guide wires... but then again, nut threads are great for that.

i have one of these terminals wasnt sure how the plastic would sound .
