read this trick on this site. glued two pieces of poplar together to make a stronger neck. hopefully i can keep heavier strings on this one without bowing.

it certainly seems strong! i really like the sound of heavier strings, so it will be nice to have a neck that can take the tension (without leaving the hardware store).

do you put a separate fretboard over your necks?
Yep thats how I do it.As far as I know I've never had a neck fail , or bow.
If anybody here has bought one of my pieces and had a problem with a neck I'd like to know.
