The very first, the prototype, the beginning... learned a LOT on this one! Very simple headstock/tailpiece. Used an old nut from a "real" guitar, which was a pain to file... and the string angle off the nut is pretty sharp on the bass string, so it doesn't hold tune as well as the newer CBGs do.

Looks great. I don't know how many times I have almost bought one of those boxes because I thought they would make a great looking instrument. They surely do make a nice looking on. Nice work.
